Since the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a significant increase in interest in real estate in Spain, particularly in Barcelona and its surroundings. Barcelona is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain, not only during the season. Last year, over 20.7 million tourists visited the colorful capital of Catalonia.

As WESTATE Agency, we have been cooperating with local developers for years, which allows us to provide our clients with interesting offers from the primary market.

However, after a detailed analysis of the market and numerous conversations with our clients, we decided that we want to expand our offer to include not only primary market properties. For this reason, we started to intensively consider opening a branch in Barcelona.

The opening of the Westate branch in Barcelona was a very well-considered decision. Before making the decision, Stefano and Nicolò traveled to Barcelona many times to thoroughly research the local real estate market and build relationships with local experts. Thanks to this, we met exceptional people who helped us make our plans a reality.

It is these people – Elia and Teresa – who are now at the helm of our Barcelona branch. Elia is a young but incredibly ambitious and charismatic co-owner of the branch and an expert in the real estate and finance industry. Teresa is an energetic co-owner, branch manager, and agent with many years of experience in the real estate market.

We chose Eixample as the location for our office – an elegant district full of famous restaurants and boutiques, and also an important tourist destination with attractions such as Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, and Sagrada Família.

Grand Opening in Barcelona

After a year of intensive work, the time finally came for the grand opening of the new branch on November 23rd.

The celebration began at 5 pm with a glass of Lamborghini Prosecco, our partner for the event. There was also atmospheric music played by a DJ during the opening. The celebration lasted late into the evening, and during this time we were visited by neighbors, owners of friendly boutiques, and many international guests with whom we had interesting conversations and made new acquaintances. After the official part, we went to a restaurant where we continued to celebrate this special day.
