Stefano Giacon

I want to be a positive leader in both good and difficult times. My goal is to create a great workplace with lots of positive vibes and a dynamic where they can nurture and develop the talents of our people and constantly engage them in new challenges. Human capital is the most important asset in today’s organisation.

Experienced Entrepreneur and Managing Director with a long history of working in the financial services, customer service and real estate industries. Skilled negotiator, business planner and franchise expert with an open mind and good communication skills.
Graduated from the University of Cattolica in Milan and the London Business School of Economics in London.
I can say without a doubt that I am a ‘people’ person. Honest, empathetic and very open to supporting others. Three key aspects and strengths in my life are: initiative, creativity and leadership. This is why I value and engage in networking so much. Relationships are not just built for business purposes, it is a much deeper definition based on creating trust, reliability and added value.
Probably the fact that I was born in Italy has made me naturally open to these meaningful relationships, which are strengthened in both good and difficult economic times.

After graduating in Milan with a degree in economics and management, I spent almost a year working at Unicredit (Italy’s largest bank), where I was in charge of credit analysis. Initially, my plan was to gain practical financial knowledge before starting my academic year on a Master in Finance in London.
London opened my eyes and made me realise that there were many talented people around me. The greatest financial minds from around the world were challenging me at university. And all this so that I could complete my master’s degree and start my career in the financial capital of the world. After graduation, I found my place at a brokerage firm and worked there for over a year. It was a crazy, dynamic and extremely challenging environment from which I learned a lot.
However, after several trips to Poland, I saw the potential of the new developing economy and very quickly made the decision to start my business here. I bought a single ticket to Warsaw.
My 10-plus year history in Warsaw is a mixture of feelings and a real roll-coster. From co-founding my first gastro start-up (a chain of healthy fast food restaurants) which I later franchised in major cities in Poland and Italy, to co-founding a real estate brokerage company in Warsaw, which now has 3 branches and is growing internationally.

Since 2019, WESTATE has been operating successfully in the residential and commercial segment in Warsaw. Today there are more than 50 employees on the team – back office managers, coordinators, junior agents, senior agents and managers. In 2022, we started our first foreign cooperation offering Polish clients properties in Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus. Our next goal is to open the first WESTATE agency abroad and open new offices in Poland.
